A Six-Session Group Coaching Series

Mindful Drinking 101:
A Group Coaching Series

Begins Tuesday, September 24

Join us for a transformative journey with Mindful Drinking 101, a group coaching series designed exclusively for those who seek a middle ground in their relationship with alcohol, who fall into the grey area between β€˜alcoholic’ and β€˜normal drinker.’ If you're looking to reduce your drinking effectively and sustainably, this is the right place for you.

Learn to Reduce Your Drinking Through:

IFS (Internal Family Systems) Parts Work

  • Understanding Your Inner Negotiators (The parts of you that show up and encourage you to drink, seeming to want to sabotage you)

  • Working with Your Inner Rebel (The part that says Fβ€”It!)

  • Befriending Your Inner Critics (The parts that pass judgment on the whole business)

  • Gaining insights into what it is your parts are really seeking/needing

Mindfulness Practices

  • Mindful Drinking (What’s it like to actually slow down and take apart the drinking process?)

  • Urge Surfing (Riding the waves of cravings)

  • Self Compassion (Because beating oneself up can activate Shame, which then becomes a Trigger)

  • Self Hypnosis (Learning to work with deeper parts of yourself)

  • Somatic Experiencing (Learning to tune into the Emotional Body, key to emotional regulation and stress reduction)

Community Support

Goal setting, group processing, and accountability, extending to between-sessions peer support.

Engage with peers who share similar struggles and ambitions. (There’s nothing so powerful as hearing the words β€œI get it. Me too.”)

The bonds of friendship that are formed between participants often extend way beyond the end of the workshop.

Mindful Drinking is a Harm Reduction modality. Harm reduction empowers the client to determine their own path and outcome, whether it be drinking reduction or abstinence. The stress reduction tools offered here can be applied not just to drinking but to all areas of life.

Workshop Includes

  • Six live Zoom sessions led by Beej

  • Lifetime access to meditation recordings, mindful journaling practices, relevant videos, and countless resources and tools

  • 20-minute personal consultation via Zoom

  • Free audio recordings of all guided practices

These sessions are not recorded for confidentiality reasons, but you will have access to the practices and materials covered in class, should you have to miss a session.

You’re highly encouraged to attend each session with video on, texts and notifications off, so that you can be fully present for yourselves and your colleagues!
